Now you know the reasons behind this problem; therefore, let’s dive into the fixes that potentially helped me resolve the “this app can’t run on your PC” in Windows 11 problem:

Fix 1: Check System Requirements

Initially, as per my investigation, the “This app can’t run on your PC” error message while installing any application on a Windows 11 PC can occur just because your device doesn’t meet the system requirements that the particular application needs.

So, I suggest you compare your device specification to the application minimum requirements such as RAM, processor speed, OS version, etc.

However, in case your device meets the required specification, then jump to the next fix I have mentioned. 

Fix 2: Run as an Administrator

There are cases where you can find that running the application is difficult as it lacks certain permissions. Therefore, to give it the required permissions, using admin rights will help.

So, I also tried this and found this fix really helpful. Thus, you can also try this out using the steps I’ve mentioned below:

  1. Right-click on the application’s executable file or shortcut.
  2. Afterward, select Run as administrator from the context menu.

S0, you must give it a try using the steps mentioned below:

  1. Right-click on the application’s executable file or shortcut.
  2. Select Properties from the context menu.
  3. Navigate to the Compatibility tab.
  4. Click on Run compatibility troubleshooter.

  1. First of all, press the Windows key + I to open Settings.
  2. Go to Privacy & security > Troubleshoot.

Before reinstalling the application, just to check, I tried running the SFC and DISM scan, and it surprisingly helped me resolve the “this app can’t run on your PC” error message.

What the SFC will do is search for your computer’s corrupted or damaged files and automatically replace them. So, here’s how you can do it:

  1. Initially, search for CMD and run it with admin rights. 
  2. After that, run the SFC/Scannow command.

  4. Afterward, run the following command one after the other:
    DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth

Before I start, let me clear that my issue is fixed using the SFC scan, but in case you are still getting the same error, then as per my previous experience, reinstalling the problematic app will help to resolve problems like “this app can’t run on your PC” error message.

So, here’s how you can reinstall the application:

  1. Press Win+R.
  2. Type Appwiz.cpl and hit Enter.

  4. Now, tap on the three-dot.
  5. Thereafter, hit the Uninstall button > uninstall.
