But, with Windows 11, Microsoft added a number of ways using which you can easily seek guidance from Windows officials. Thus, if in case you don’t know how to get help in Windows 11/ 10:
Method 1: Try the Get Started App (to Get Tips From Microsoft)

There is a pre-installed application called Get Help. This will help you easily get help in Windows 11 PC. Why I am telling you this app on Windows 11 as it is not available on Windows 10. You can simply press F1 to open Get Help app. However, previously when you press F1 key, it open the Microsoft Edge browser. So, if you are using a Windows 11 PC and want to get support, here are the needy steps:
- Search for Help on Windows Search. Then, hit the Open button.Â
- Now, in the newly opened screen, search for the issue that you are getting. Thereafter, if there is any answer available in Microsoft Community, then try them.

- Thereafter, tap on the Products and Services to open the drop-down menu.
- Then, click the Windows icon. Next, choose the appropriate category and click Confirm.

To directly get help from Microsoft Windows officials, you can get contextual help depending upon your needs. Generally, almost every program has a Help Option that is found under the Menu and directly appears when you press F1 Key.
Method 3: Use the Search Bar on the Taskbar
As per my experience, I have seen that the Windows Search is updated with new features in Windows 11 that will help you with both local and web results to resolve your problems. So, whenever you search for your issue on Windows Search, it provides some relevant web results from Bing search. You can click on any of the links it shows that match your problem to know the exact solutions. So, here’s how to get help in Windows 10 and Windows 11 PC using Windows Search:
- Type your query into the Windows Search Bar. In my situation, the Teams app is not working, and I want to fix it. So, I typed Teams app not working in the Windows Search. Afterwards, I clicked on Open Results in Browser (under the Search the Web option).
- By doing so, the query will be opened in Bing on Microsoft Edge, and a quick link to the Settings page will immediately be displayed. With the help of Windows Search, you can resolve many issues in a Windows 11/10 PC.
Method 4: Request Email or Chat support
You can also try email or live chat support using the Microsoft Support page to get help from them. Like any other official Customer Service Chat Window, it also shows you how much time or whether a Customer Service Agent is online. However, suppose you message them; a bot will reply to you initially and tell you to wait until a Customer Service Agent comes online. So, if you would like chat support, try the Contact Us Page. They will send you an email reply as soon as possible.
